Warwick Sasco Angels Race for Life

On Sunday 5th July Warwick Sasco Angels took part in Race for Life at Stratford Racecourse. Race for Life is Cancer Research's largest women-only fund-raising event in the UK. It brings together thousands of women each year to walk, jog or run 5 kilometres. To date, four million women have raised over £240 million for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work. The Warwick Sasco Angels - Alex, Helen, Janet, Lynette and Sadie were cheered on by colleagues, family and friends for the event. Their sponsorship efforts raised £634. Helen who organised their entry said. ‘It was fun to run with so many women although not a competitive race. We are thrilled with our sponsorship, thanks to all who supported us.’
