Plastic is the solution not the problem

Plastic is a material that changed healthcare as well as our everyday life.

The material once heralded as the saviour of the planet is now demonised and partly blamed for its destruction.

In response to the plethora of biased information circulating around the globe, Warwick SASCo have produced a brochure with a leading agency to give a more balanced picture of the material’s relevance in our world today.

As a manufacturer of plastic products, we are often questioned about the sustainability and environmental aspects of polypropylene. We feel it is time to speak out about the benefits of plastic, dispel some myths and question the suitability of alternative materials.

The brochure aims to empower you/ your team to answer questions about plastic and feel confident to discuss the importance of the material in healthcare.

We believe it will help you will see the benefit of plastic more clearly.

Warwick SASCo celebrate milestone with launch of photo competition

2021 Marks a milestone in WARWICK SASCo’s history. In June1981 the company launched the first range of polyware for use in hospital instrument decontamination. The products were quickly adopted and favoured by Sterile Services for their efficacy, low cost and durability.

Since its humble beginning the family run business has sold over 300 million items and become a stalwart of sterile services internationally. Recently, the company was (re)awarded the NHS contract to supply polyware to UK hospitals.

Warwick SASCo is a long-standing partner to the IDSc and supported members over the last 4 decades. Darby Booth, Managing Director, said “supporting the professional development of its’ member is essential for the industry and patient safety. We enjoy meeting our end users at the IDSc annual conference and look forward to the next decade with you.”

Warwick SASCo has seen many faces come and go in Sterile Services. To celebrate their anniversary the company invite you to send a new or old photo of yourself, your team or an historic image of the products in use. The first 40 respondents will receive a goodie bag to share with their department.

Coronavirus Notice 18/3/2020

In response to Public Health England advice relating to COVID-19, Warwick SASCo have put measures in place to protect our staff and prevent disruption to supply chain.

To potentially slow the spread of the virus, Warwick SASCo have reinforced health and safety procedures and adopted additional hygiene practices.

Until advised otherwise, we are fully operational and will try to get orders out whilst we have stock and are able to work.

All but essential travel, customer meetings and visitors are suspended until further notice.

We would like to reassure our customers that we are here to support you during this time. Please bear with us, our team are working hard to maintain supply of all essential products and service levels.
